The State University of Applied Sciences in Elbląg provides every foreign student with accommodation. There are two main buildings that offer accommodation as well as other services. These hostels are situated close to the School buildings. The range of facilities offered varies but most hostels have areas for study and recreation, cafeterias, laundry facilities and car parks. The cost of a room in a hostel is 330 PLN/77 EUR per month. It is also necessary to pay a deposit of 400 PLN/95 EUR. Payment for rooms should be settled to by 15th of each month. There are double- or triple-room suits with a common kitchen, toilet and bathroom. Students do not have to bring their own bedding as it is provided by the hostel. Furthermore each room is equipped with night lamps, desks, beds, a table, shelves, a wardrobe, a refrigerator, internet and television connection. The kitchen is equipped with the gas cooker but there are no kitchen utensils - cutlery, cups, pots etc. In the hostels there are also dinning room with restaurant, fitness club, sauna, theatre, TV-room.
Many students rent rooms or apartments in the city. The cost of private housing in Elblag is 400-500 PLN/95-118 EUR per month.
